Undergraduate Fellowship Dinners

Undergraduates gather weekly to relax and enjoy the company of fellow Catholics over a meal prepared by students. These meetings are organized by students, so if you're interested, be sure to sign up!

Welcome / Greeter

What better way to create a welcoming home-away-from-home atmosphere than to be the person who welcomes visitors to Calvert House? Being new is often awkward, so don't just be a friendly face for your fellow students, ask us about being an official friendly face.

Social Event Organizer

Tired of spending ALL of your time studying and doing coursework? Help to plan social, athletic, and offsite events for the Calvert community. In the past we've done barbecues at the point, Oktoberfests, Christmas decorating, fish fries, Mardi Gras parties, and other fun events.

Set Up / Clean Up

There is always something to do before an event: planning, shopping, decorating, advertising, etc. In addition, leaving things as we found them facilitates others' use of the areas. These miscellaneous tasks can be important ways of building community and serving others.

Food Preparation

Many events at Calvert House require cooking and baking, and everyone knows homemade is best. If there is a chef inside you waiting to be born, you might want to sign up to be part of our kitchen staff for events. Of course, if there's no event, you can always feel free to test your recipes on a ready and willing community and staff.
